  This company is using my business name Sydney Antique Restoration Centre in their google ad words. After kindly asking him to desist he refuses to, i think this is a reflection on his character. As my business Sydney Antique Restoration Centre and Sydney Mobile French Polishing by Christopher Escriva has been in business for 8 years servicing the Eastern Suburbs and North Shore providing an unparrelled service it seems to me someone is trying to cash in !!. Have your furniture restored by the craftsman who does the actual quote.

  Wow what a great service! They resprayed an old wicker/loop outdoor furniture set...I was going to throw it out BUT WOW now with a fresh colour it looks brand new. The service was flawless! Communication seamless and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you

  The staff at this company at the beginning and during the exercise of having three Adirondack chairs sanded back and repainted were very helpful and lovely to deal with. Their prices were expensive but after looking at their website and, as stated above, they were very helpful on the phone. In less than three months after receiving the furniture back from this company there is bad peeling and lifting of paint on two of the three chairs (these chairs are uncover, not out in the weather).For over $1300 we expected the paint job to last a very long time! I emailed the company two weeks ago and included photos of the chairs. Still no response. I won't recommend or use this company again.

  I was quoted to restore old furniture that i inherited. I sent photos and was given a rough quote. Initially I was quoted for a dining table, sideboard and 8 chairs. As the chairs did not include upholstery, I removed them from the order. I was requoted and the same table, still unseen and it became $500 more. I thought odd, but agreed to the quote and the furniture was collected. Once received I was called and told both pieces would incur an extra fee due to the extent of damage. I agreed as the marks were significant. I was notified they were being delivered and was there someone to help the delivery people otherwise it would incur an additional $50 charge. For some reason it is cheaper to collect but not deliver. Once again I agreed. The delivery people were fantastic as access was difficult . The exterior of the pieces were beautifully finished. The doors to the sideboard are still covered in mould and the draws and shelves still covered in grit. The table has a small gouge that I don't remember seeing. After multiple emails and text messages I was finally contact and offered some varnish to be sent to help with the gouge, which I said I would be grateful to receive, and advised to go to a hardware store to ask an untrained sales assistant for advice on an appropriate cleaning product. I have not received the varnish nor a reply to my follow up request. So for approximately $3000 I have nicely finished furniture, on the outside and grubby on the inside and a new mark on the table and no varnish and no replies to my emails.

  We have a set of 22 year old metal garden chairs which we really like. As they were starting to look rather tired, with flaking pint, scratches etc. we decided to have them re-painted, as we love their style and it would've cost thousands to replace them with similar quality chairs.
  The Furniture Finishing Company were very professional on the 'phone and arranged for the chairs to be collected and returned.
  The finished result it absolutely superb - a top quality finish and they look truly terrific. I highly recommend the service and quality of the results - very professional.
